ANNUAL FUND SEMINAR What is an Annual Fund? It’s a coordinated effort by the school’s development team to plan an annual appeal which each year will provide an average of $30,000-$150,000. After the first year it gets easier because donors “get in the habit of giving.” Why Start an Annual Fund Now? WHY NOT? Every school has potential donors who would be most happy to give, if they knew the situation. The Annual Fund provides the opportunity to support Christian education. Who does all the Work? The administrator is NOT in charge but recruits the development team who is trained at the workshop. The “Center” gives team job descriptions and encourages them on each campus visit.
How are the Funds Used? They can be used for budget support or special programs, scholarships, salaries, facilities upgrades or needed equipment. The school sets the goal which may change year by year. Seminar Goals
